My passion for design comes from the idea that true simplicity can provide the most innovative and usable products & solutions which is why I designed and built this theme the way I did. One of the first things you’ll notice when you activate the So Simple theme is that all of these things mentioned above (and much more) have meticulously been removed from the WordPress admin in order to create a near-perfect writing experience for you as well as a near-perfect reading experience for your visitors. If you can’t live without these things, you should feel free to customize the So Simple theme however you like to suite your needs, but it would be a real shame in my opinion to ruin the true intended purpose of this theme.
I would prefer to maintain the core So Simple theme as it is… media-free. However, for those looking to add photos, video and other media to the So Simple theme, I am working on a few “add-ons” that will allow you to do exactly that without having to compromise what the So Simple theme was truly intended for.
You’re in luck! the So Simple theme does use pages. The home page header is actually powered by published pages. You can add as many or as little pages as you like and they will rotate randomly as readers browse your site. You can also apply whatever background color (green, blue, yellow, red or black) you like to your header pages.
If You’re familiar with WordPress, installing and using this theme is going to a real treat compared to other typical themes. The few setup and usage instructions below is all you’ll need.
